Who and What is Getting in the Way?
Welcome back to our five-part series on the importance of choosing YOU. Last time, we talked about the decision to prioritize yourself in life and business. Today, we're diving into a topic that many of us struggle with identifying who and what is getting in the way of making yourself a priority.

Part 2: Who and What is Getting in the Way?
Let’s be honest, life is full of demands. Between family responsibilities, work commitments, client expectations, and the weight of guilt, shame, and fear, it’s easy to lose sight of your own needs and desires. You might find yourself constantly putting others first, leaving little to no time for yourself. But here’s the thing: if you don’t make space for your own vision, who will?
So, who or what is getting in the way? Is it the never-ending list of family obligations? The pressure to be everything for your clients? The fear of what might happen if you truly put yourself first? Or maybe it’s the guilt and shame that creep in when you even think about doing something just for you.
Imagine, just for a moment, what your life would look like if you cleared these obstacles out of the way. What if you could finally focus on what truly matters to you without the weight of these burdens holding you back? How would that change your life, your business, and your overall happiness?
This week, I’m sharing a recorded audio training that will help you identify the specific roadblocks in your life and guide you through the process of moving them aside. It’s time to clear the path to a life where you can truly prioritize yourself. You can do this without the guilt, without the fear, and without sacrificing your family or your bottom line.
Take a few moments to listen, reflect, and start making the powerful changes that will allow you to choose YOU.
Decide who do you need to train to solve problems or honor your time in your circle. What will you put in place to do it with ease and grace?
Stay tuned for the next installment, where we’ll explore the cost of not choosing you.

Sales Strategies Inspired by Timeshare Tales
If you’ve ever sat through a timeshare presentation, you know it can be a rollercoaster of emotions. My husband and I have experienced the highs and lows of these sales pitches firsthand. As business owners, we can learn a lot from these experiences, both the good and the bad.
The Smooth Sale
Back in 2003, my husband and I attended a timeshare presentation that was nothing short of impressive. We had our guard up, fully prepared to say “no” at every turn. But the salesperson did something remarkable. He genuinely got to know us. He didn’t just push a product; he painted a picture of how this timeshare could enhance our lives. He showed us the space, highlighted the features, and connected everything to our lifestyle. By the time we got to the numbers, we were already sold. It was a seamless, no-pressure experience that left us feeling valued and understood.
The Hard Sell
Fast forward a few years, and we found ourselves at another timeshare presentation. This time, the experience was completely different. The salesperson was aggressive, pressuring us to buy more because “we could afford it.” He even questioned our careers, trying to guilt us into a purchase. I knew my husband, the kind-hearted man he is, was about to lose his patience. The situation escalated quickly, and we walked out with the salesperson chasing us down the hall. It was a textbook example of what not to do in sales. Avoid the desperation, pressure, and a complete lack of respect for the customer.
Lessons Learned
These experiences taught me invaluable lessons about sales. I apply them to my own business and teach in my LUXE Scaling Method Masterclass. The key takeaway? Sales should never feel like a battle. You want your clients to walk away feeling like they’ve made the best decision for themselves, not like they’ve been cornered into something they didn’t want.
In my upcoming masterclass, I’ll show you how to build a sales system that fosters trust, connection, and genuine value. Let’s be more like the first timeshare experience. We’ll dive into techniques that help you scale your business without resorting to pushy tactics that leave a bad taste in your clients’ mouths.
Ready to learn how to sell with grace and confidence? Check out the details for the LUXE Scaling Method Masterclass below. Let’s make sure your sales approach leaves your clients excited to work with you, not desperate to get away.
